Research Assistant (Part Time Contract, 21 hrs / week)

We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join our Speech Therapy Department, supporting exciting projects that leverage AI and technology to address speech or swallowing impairments.

What you’ll do:

You’ll play a vital role in supporting our research team with data collection, speech annotation, and project coordination. Your responsibilities will include screening and recruiting patients, conducting audio recordings of speech samples, performing speech transcription and annotation, and assisting with testing preliminary prototype that is developed. You’ll also handle administrative tasks, maintain accurate research documentation, and ensure compliance with research protocols and grant requirements.

What we’re looking for:

You should be highly motivated, reliable, and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. Basic computer skills are essential. Most importantly, you should be team-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
