Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Degree in Marine Science, Science or equivalent.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with Python and PyTorch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of linear flow imaging system in the lab.
  • Data collection, processing and organization.
  • Manual image annotation.
  • Neural network-based classification and fine-tuning models.
  • Regular field trips onboard a research vessel.
  • Water profiling using multiparameter optical sensors.
  • Water collection for quality analysis.
  • Water filtration for molecular analysis.
  • Chemical analysis.

Skills

Good written and verbal communication skills in English
