Job Mandate

Relationship Managers are high-level professionals responsible for managing an affluent customer's wealth holistically. They engage with clients daily to grow and protect their wealth for the benefit of their successors and heirs. Using a consultative approach, Relationship Managers gather information about clients' needs and wants, then tailor personalized strategies utilizing a range of financial products and services. They customize investment strategies to meet each client's unique circumstances and preferences for income, liquidity, and risk. When appropriate, they pursue cross-border investment opportunities to enhance returns and diversify portfolios.

The Relationship Manager (RM) aims to achieve annual business targets related to business development, relationship management, and customer profile balances, especially for clients with complex investment requirements, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in sales and compliance processes.

The primary responsibilities of the Relationship Manager include:

  • Acquiring new high-net-worth customers
  • Generating additional volume from existing customers across sales channels
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers
  • Delivering excellent customer service through investment products and services
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Business Development

  • Achieving business targets related to acquiring, onboarding, and deepening relationships with mass affluent customers.
  • Identifying and promoting a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Setting appointments proactively and meeting clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Marketing and soliciting investible funds from both existing and new accounts.
  • Developing proposals tailored to each client's objectives, focusing on yield, safety, liquidity, and diversification.
  • Submitting proposals and following up promptly, including preparing call reports to update management.
  • Conducting client presentations effectively.
  • Networking with clients to create new business contacts.
  • Liaising proactively with branch partners for referrals and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Developing and deepening relationships with assigned clients.
  • Engaging support from specialists to provide technical advice when needed.
  • Analyzing market trends and customer profiles to identify new opportunities.

B. Client Relationship Management

  • Monitoring client accounts and portfolios, providing timely market updates and advice through regular calls and meetings to build long-term relationships.
  • Understanding and addressing clients' true needs and expectations.
  • Executing sales and investment strategies effectively.
  • Maximizing client interactions by building on cues to gain commitment to products, services, and solutions.
  • Building relationships through social and lifestyle events.
  • Regularly reviewing accounts to ensure growth of the overall fund level.
