The position oversees the Global Tender Management function in the APAC region, handling complex Requests for Quotations (RFQs) across multiple markets. The role emphasises developing comprehensive transportation solutions, particularly in air and ocean freight, to meet client needs and align with Crane Worldwide’s strategic goals.
Expertise in supply chain optimisation, advanced pricing, project management, and strong leadership skills are essential for coordinating cross-functional teams. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring consistent tender processes, fostering regional collaboration, and delivering timely and accurate proposals. Additionally, they will leverage analytics to improve solution design and operational efficiency.
Proposal & Solution Development
- Lead the development, design, and pricing of regional and global RFQs, utilising standard tariffs, historical data, benchmarks, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Develop comprehensive transportation solutions for Air freight, ensuring competitiveness and operational feasibility.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Air products, including pricing mechanisms, capacity considerations, routing options, cost structures, and market trends.
Supply Chain Analysis & Optimisation
- Analyse clients’ supply chain performance to identify cost optimisation opportunities and service‑level improvements.
- Utilise modelling, network analysis, and scenario planning tools to support solutioning and strategic recommendations.
- Apply advanced analytics to strengthen pricing decisions and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Facilitate communication across Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of tender submissions.
- Establish RFQ best practices and drive consistent adoption across regions.
- Support the sales cycle through solution insights, value proposition development, and client‑facing engagements.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Define performance baselines and metrics to evaluate solution success.
- Identify process gaps, propose enhancements, and lead implementation of improvements in pricing strategy, tender workflow efficiency, and solution quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging data, market intelligence, and post‑RFQ learnings.
Communication & Presentation
- Deliver compelling internal and external presentations, simplifying complex supply chain solutions into clear, value‑driven messages.
- Act as a subject matter expert during customer meetings and internal reviews.

Requirements
- Experience: 7–10 years of relevant industry experience with a track record in tender management, solution design, or pricing leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline required.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Soucify, TMS/WMS platforms, Microsoft Visio, transportation modelling tools, network/simulation tools, and data visualisation platforms (Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strategic Thinking: Capacity to align solution design with broader business strategies and customer value.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and global stakeholders.
- Industry Experience: Logistics experience is strongly preferred, including freight forwarding, warehousing, customs brokerage, and third‑party logistics (3PL).
