About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and driven Head of Business Growth APAC to lead commercial expansion for the Public Safety and Security (PSS) division across the Asia-Pacific region (excluding China & Hong Kong).

This position is ideal for a seasoned regional commercial leader with strong telecommunications, ICT, or public safety industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Business Leadership
  • Drive business growth and achieve order intake targets across Southeast Asia, North Asia, Australia
  • Build robust pipelines through direct engagement with government agencies, MNOs, VARs, system integrators, and strategic partners.
  • Lead regional market capture planning and develop business development strategies aligned with global direction.
Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead and mentor a regional sales team of 6, with indirect oversight of 10–20 cross‑functional contributors (bid, legal, procurement, finance, marketing).
  • Partner closely with key account managers, technical teams, and senior management to support bids, campaigns, and market penetration initiatives.
  • Strengthen trust‑based relationships with senior decision makers and industry influencers across APAC.
Commercial Excellence & Governance
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, ethics, and governance requirements.
  • Provide continuous market insights, customer intelligence, and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Support preparation of commercial proposals, tenders, and large‑scale program bids.
Solution Positioning & Opportunity Development
  • Deeply understand PSS solutions (TETRA, MCX/5G mission‑critical services, software, devices).
  • Identify customer pain points and drive creation of integrated technical and commercial solutions.
  • Engage third‑party partners and system integrators to enhance solution offerings where required.
  • Represent the organisation at exhibitions, marketing events, and reseller seminars.
Requirements
  • 12–15 years of experience in telecommunications, ICT, public safety, or related mission‑critical communications sectors.
  • Proven success in regional business development and sales leadership across APAC.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and executive relationship‑building skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
  • Hands‑on, proactive leader with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • Experience in managing change, driving growth, and delivering complex commercial programmes.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
