Position : Regional Manufacturing Finance Leader, APAC

Location : Singapore | West

About the Role

This is a senior manufacturing-focused finance leadership role with regional responsibility across Asia, accountable for strengthening financial discipline, cost and cash control, and decision support across multiple manufacturing sites. Beyond core controllership, the role partners closely with senior management on expansion, capital investment, and strategic initiatives, while working hands‑on with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and commercial teams to improve margins, working capital efficiency, and overall business performance, supported by strong governance and financial controls across the region.

Top Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)
  • Possess CA, CPA or ACCA (full member)
  • Proven experience in manufacturing finance, with strong grounding in cost accounting, production finance, inventory management, variance analysis, and margin optimization and demonstrated track record of business partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, production, quality, and engineering teams to drive operational efficiency and cost control
  • Experience managing regional / multi-country finance scope within Asia, including consolidated reporting and coordination across multiple legal entities and willingness to travel regionally as required.
  • Strong capability in cash flow, working capital, and CAPEX planning, including capital investment evaluation, prioritization, and post-investment performance tracking.
  • Hands‑on leadership experience overseeing financial reporting, statutory accounts, audits, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights to support data‑driven decision‑making at senior management and board levels.
  • Comfortable engaging with CEO, Regional GM, and Board‑level stakeholders, presenting financial performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic implications.
Nice‑to‑Haves (Value‑Adding)
  • Exposure to regulated manufacturing environments, such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or precision engineering
  • Experience supporting fundraising activities, investor engagement, or IPO‑readiness, including financial modelling and governance preparation
  • Background in finance transformation, ERP implementation, digital finance initiatives, or process standardization across regions
  • Prior involvement in manufacturing expansion, new plant setup, consolidation, relocation, or footprint optimization initiatives
  • Experience overseeing HR and IT functions, ERP systems, and technology governance
  • Exposure to M&A evaluation, integration, or joint venture assessment
