Overview

Location: East (Near Tai Seng MRT); 5 day work week (Hybrid Work Environment). Salary: $5,000 - $6,000 (depends on experience).

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT Operations & Support Engineer to keep our IT systems, networks, and cloud services running smoothly. You will provide day-to-day support for staff in Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific (APA) region, ensuring issues are solved quickly and downtime is kept to a minimum. This is a regional role, where you’ll also assist with IT projects and occasionally travel within the APA region.

If you enjoy troubleshooting, supporting people, and keeping technology reliable, this role is for you.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and cloud systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Manage routine tasks such as backups, updates, patching, and system checks.
  • Support daily use of laptops, mobile devices, and office equipment.
  • Assist with global and regional IT project rollouts.
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 support for staff in Singapore and across the region.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Work with external vendors for repairs or escalations when needed.
  • Record and track support requests in the IT ticketing system.
  • Respond promptly to IT issues or outages, escalating where required.
  • Work with the team to resolve recurring technical problems.
  • Follow IT processes to ensure minimal disruption to users.
  • Maintain accurate system and support documentation.
  • Create simple troubleshooting guides and knowledge base articles for users.
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience in IT operations or support.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows systems, networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls), Active Directory, and Office 365.
  • Hands-on experience with system monitoring, patch management, and backup solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco (CCNA).
  • Knowledge of Linux or SQL.
