About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive Bureau Veritas’ Rail strategy and growth within the Buildings & Infrastructure Product Line across Asia Pacific. The APA Rail Product Lead will combine market development, client engagement, technical & operational oversight to position BV as the trusted partner for Department of Transport, Rail owners, operators, investors and EPC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the APA Rail market strategy aligned with BV’s global priorities.
• Identify high-potential markets and new service opportunities across Department of Transport, Rail owners, operators, investors and EPC.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and decision makers in the rail ecosystem.
• Lead pursuit of strategic projects from lead generation to contract negotiation.
• Provide subject matter expertise in rail design, construction management, PMC, and operational compliance.
• Ensure excellence in service delivery through coordination with BV’s technical and operational teams.
• Collaborate with BV leaders across the region to ensure a consistent market approach.
• Represent APA in global initiatives, knowledge sharing, and solution development.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, civil / structural, or related disciplines; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the rail sector, with at least 7-8 years in leadership, rail infrastructure PMC/Construction assurance or business development roles.
• Proven success in delivering and securing large-scale rail projects in APA (PMC, construction assurance).
• Strong industry network with all Rail Stakeholders (Public authorities, Railway Operator, Metro Operator, investors, financiers (e.g., JICA/ADB/AIIB) and EPC).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and client relationship management skills.
• Fluent in English and excellent in communication, presentation, and cross-cultural collaboration abilities. Willing to travel extensively across APAC (Kuala Lumpur / Bangkok / Jakarta / Shanghai / Mumbai / Sydney).
