R&D Engineer (AI)

Responsibilities

1. Research and development in AI algorithms and applications
2. Design, develop and deploy a fully functional, self-contained chatbot for RAG applications operating on a local/cloud server environment
3. Report of progress and plan to collaborators in an effective and timely manner

Requirements

1. Degree in Electronic/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/AI or related discipline
2. Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and at least one popular programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
3. Familiarity with frontend development principles and experience with at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., Node/React)
4. Understanding of backend development concepts and experience with at least one backend framework (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Express)
5. Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications for Agentic frameworks
6. Understanding of server-side operations and local/cloud deployment concepts
7. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
9. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
10. Knowledge of dockers would be an added advantage
