JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Strategic Program Manager you will be accountable for delivering quality quotes. Success will come from working with your Prog Manager, Quote Specialist, Mkt and Sales to identify the right opportunities and deliver competitive, quality quotes to our customers.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibility will also entail following up on opportunities to yield incremental revenue for Future Electronics.
JOB CONTENT
Sales/Branch Management/Coordination
- Able to fully understand clearly (and when needed to perform) all the responsibility of a Quote Specialist
- Able to guide QS effectively in ensuring all new opportunity’s qualification and proper definition of quote and customer objective(s) are achieved prior to the SBDU positioning conference call with Sales
- Be the main lead for SBDU positioning conference call with Prog Manager or independently
- Ability to challenge Sales on their strategy with objectivity with clarity of Corp vision and mission
- Once experience, Directors, SPM may assign specific customers to QM to manage independently
Quote Coordination
- Able to counter check the integrity of all uploads with both India QS and QS. Highlighting (if any errors, and proposing new improved methods to increasing understanding between SBDU and India QS)
- Able to confirm, vet, amend the following while guiding QS and India QS
- Create and update Quote coversheets (including detailing strategy)
- Ensure QM is classed and parts are cleansed correctly to match dashboard before release to marketing for quote
- Identify Registration content for upstream
- Prepare X-ray (for conference call with Sales or PMM)
- Prepare QB(for conference call with Sales or PMM)
- Work with product marketing to ensure quality quote is completed within set Timeline
Quote Review
- Going thru all the tactical review of all quoted lines including auto quote, using the quote checklist and timeline & NQ lines especially with QS (side by side)
- This Tactical Review must be paced out for possibilities of Mkt to re-run costs with any significant lines.
- Prep and analyse to show if initial quote strategy has been achieved
- If the objective is not met, QM must be able identify areas of obstacles and work together with Strategic Program Manager for direction and guide
- Review every quote with PM/SPM before it goes back to Branch/Customer
Requote (Price Challenge)
- Working closely with QS to compare new feedback rework for Mkt
- Highlight discrepancies or abnormalities directly with Sales and PM/SPM
- Communicate and coordinate feedback to product mkt. for re-quote
Tagging of Awards (Discrepancies and SBDU Dashboard update)
- Working closely with QS to validate Awards received, highlight discrepancies, alert PM/SPM and work directly with Sales for solutions
- Ensuring awarded and lost lines are tagged correctly in standard format into SBDU Dashboard
Training & Development
- Rotation in the various Mkting BUs PMMs
- Tagged to PM working on quote from beginning to completion.
- Complete all iLearn course as assigned
- Product Induction Program
QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCES
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Experience from same industry is beneficial
- Has sound understanding of the customer and corporate programs offered by Future Electronics
COMPETENCIES

- Has a good understanding of the product line offered by Future Electronics and her competitors.
