Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist in both pre-contract and post-contract phases of fast-track projects. Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in both pre-contract and post-contract phases of fast-track projects.
• Pre-contract responsibilities include evaluating price comparisons and cost summaries, preparing tenders, performing measurements, and preparing bills of quantities and quotations for civil and building works.
• Post-contract responsibilities include ensuring accurate quantity measurements to support progress payment claims, variation order claims, and payments to subcontractors and suppliers, as well as preparing final accounts. Maintain proper site documentation to support variation orders and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Collaborate closely with the safety team, providing support for all safety and health initiatives and related matters.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s Safety Management System, the Workplace Safety & Health Act (WSHA), and all subsidiary regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferable minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in construction industries.
• Knowledge of market trends, construction costs, methods, and materials will be an added advantage.
