Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for an individual to work in a building engineering role. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Building/Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing tender documents, measuring quantities, analyzing quotations, and liaising with various stakeholders throughout project phases. The salary range is between $3,500 - $6,000 monthly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and pricing.
• Perform measurement/taking off quantities for Bills of Quantity, cost planning, costing and cost control.
• Analyze and compare quotations of various trade elements.
• Attend site meetings when required.
• Generate and submit quotations to clients.
• Source quotations from sub‑contractors and material suppliers.
• Prepare contract variation orders, claims, cost studies, and final accounts consolidation.
• Liaise with the Project Leader/Manager/MD throughout the process.
• Coordinate with consultants and sub‑contractors.
• Perform any other related ad hoc duties assigned.

Job scope

• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and pricing
• Perform measurement/taking off quantities for Bills of Quantity, cost planning, costing and cost control

• Generation and submission of quotations to clients based on D&B/ A&A projects, schedule of rates and / or Star Rates.
• Sourcing of quotations from sub‑contractors and material suppliers.
• Assessment and preparation of contract variation orders, claims, cost studies, final accounts consolidation.
• Review and liaise closely with the Project Leader/Manager/MD throughout the process of pitching to confirmation and execution.
• Liaison with consultants, sub‑contractors, relevant authorities during the entire project phase.
• Any other related ad hoc duties assigned.
