A regional Mechanical & Electrical contractor in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (ICT) responsible for managing commercial aspects of multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in ICT construction, strong cost management skills, and proven project management capabilities. The Quantity Surveyor (ICT) is responsible for the commercial and contractual management of ICT works across multiple projects. Reporting to senior management, the role supports project delivery by managing costs, procurement, valuations, variations, and commercial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements.
This position will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to maintain commercial control throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-award through to final accounts.
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cashflow forecasts for ICT works
Administer subcontractor and supplier procurement, including tender evaluation and contract award
Prepare progress claims, valuations, and payment certifications
Manage variations, change control, and commercial correspondence
Track costs against budget and provide regular cost and margin reporting
Support final accounts, close-out documentation, and project financial reconciliation
Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual and commercial procedures
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role within ICT, ELV, or technology‑related construction works
Strong understanding of cost management, valuations, variations, and contract administration
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and maintain commercial control
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
High level of accuracy, organisation, and commercial awareness
Experience working on ICT, ELV, AV, security, or data‑related systems
Prior experience within a construction, engineering, or integrated MEP contracting environment
Familiarity with standard forms of contract and project‑based cost reporting
Experience supporting final accounts and audit processes
