Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage progress claims and evaluate costs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Singapore, and a degree in Quantity Surveying. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is essential. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore.
• Able to start work immediately is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts.
• Provide estimates and evaluate costing for tender submission.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, Final Accounts and Sub-contractor Progress Claims.
• Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier
• Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission
• Estimate, develop & manage construction schedule, method of statement, and temporary plan
• Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.
• Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the works

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/ Post-Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• MUST have at least 2 years of work experience as Quantity Surveyor in Singapore.
• Competent in software skills MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Should be meticulous, independent, highly motivated, results-oriented, good team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Able to start work immediately is an advantage.
