Job summary

A construction company based in Singapore is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage tender processes, prepare and evaluate contracts, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role requires self-motivation and the ability to work beyond normal hours when needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Good working knowledge of contracts and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of construction products and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize tender procedures and processes.
  • Support tendering activities through contract preparation and evaluation.
  • Prepare tender evaluation and conduct negotiations with subcontractors.

Job Responsibilities
  • Familiar with both Pre and Post Contract.
  • Coordinate and organize tender procedures and processes.
  • Contract Preparation, Evaluation, Negotiation and Tendering. Support tendering activities through contract preparation, tasks evaluation, data gathering, information gathering and document.
  • Preparation for entire tendering process, tender and contract documents.
  • Preparation of documents for sourcing of quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Preparation of tender evaluation, conduct negotiation with subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Preparation of progress claim to clients and payment to subcontractors & suppliers.
  • Familiar with contact experience.
  • All other QS related job duties.
  • Attend site meetings and handle contractual issues.
Requirements
  • Degree / diploma in Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Good working knowledge of contract and ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of construction products and materials.
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours when required.
  • Self-motivated, independent, responsible and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Excellent in verbal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
