Job summary

A local construction firm in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates and manage contracts for steel/metal works. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering and possesses 2–3 years of experience. Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, MTOs, and tender proposals for steel/metal works.
• Review contracts, drawings, and specs; manage subcontracts and variations.
• Handle monthly claims, VOs, and final accounts; ensure timely payment and documentation.
• Track budgets, cost control, and cash flow; prepare reports for management.
• Liaise with project, engineering, and procurement teams; attend client meetings.
• Other ad-hoc duties.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in QS, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Min. 2–3 years’ experience in steelwork QS or contract admin.
• Strong in cost estimation, negotiation & drawing interpretation.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and good communication skills.
• Immediate availability preferred.
