Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Engineer (QS) to oversee cost management, contract administration, and commercial aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical and financial skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation.
  • Review and evaluate tender submissions, contracts, and supplier quotations.
  • Manage project costs, including monitoring budgets, preparing progress claims, and verifying variations.
  • Lead procurement activities, including subcontractor selection and negotiations.
  • Conduct site inspections, cost analysis, and valuations for ongoing projects.
  • Prepare interim and final accounts and ensure timely settlement with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide cost control updates and reports to project stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil & Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Prefer Singapore Citizen / PR.
  • Good in English and Mandarin.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in construction, infrastructure, or security/ELV projects.
  • Good knowledge of tendering, contract administration, and project cost control.
  • Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Glodon) and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership with ability to mentor junior staff.
  • Willing to travel or work at project sites when required.
  • Good knowledge in ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
