Job summary

A construction firm based in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to handle responsibilities such as tender preparation, supplier negotiations, and monthly claims submissions. Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying, preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess good costing knowledge and be proficient in Microsoft Office and architectural software. The role requires someone who is confident, hardworking, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tender BQ costing and submissions.
  • Attend tender interviews and meetings.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients.
  • Liaise with contractors and project teams on-site.
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress payments.
  • Prepare variation orders and settle final accounts.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

  • Attend tender interviews/meetings
  • Sourcing, evaluate and negotiation with specialists, suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients
  • Liaise with main contractors, sub-contractors and project teams; including on site check and measurements
  • Evaluation and certification of sub-contractors progress payments
  • Prepare variation orders and settlement of final accounts with clients and sub-contractors
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management from time to time
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Building/QS/relevant equivalent qualifications
  • Preferably with min. 2 years relevant experience
  • Good costing knowledge, committed and hardworking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and architectural software
  • Confident & able to work independently with minimal supervision
