Role overview

The Quantitative Developer will sit within a commodities team in Singapore, with a focus on the broad metals and bulks universe.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a research platform for feature engineering, model fitting, strategy monetization
  • Work with fundamental analysts to codify supply and demand models and implement in a Python environment
  • Maintain automatic fundamental data pipeline updates
  • Conduct backtests of fundamental modeled outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Python development. Experience with visualization is preferred
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud computing experience. Experience with development tools like Docker and/or Jenkins preferred
  • Proven track record in building and owning complex systems
  • SQL knowledge is required. Experience with time series modeling from a data storage and manipulation perspective would be beneficial
  • Self‑starter with excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to learn quickly
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
