Job summary

A manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure product excellence through precise inspections and effective documentation. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in various inspection tools. You will maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires working rotating shifts and offers a dynamic environment focused on product excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (weekly basis).
• Ability to read and interpret basic GD&T drawings.
• Understanding of CORE Tools and quality methodologies.
• MPI Level 2 certification in Non-Destructive Testing is an advantage.

• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI following AS9102 standards.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and gages.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections based on job instruction sheets

• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI in compliance with AS9102 standards

• Use various inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges) for dimensional checks

• Raise Quality Notifications (QN) for any non-conformances

• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and gages

• Ensure proper documentation and stamping of quality records

• Uphold 5S standards at workstations and inspection areas

• Communicate effectively across teams and departments

• Comply with EH&S and Quality Management System (QMS) policies

• Support CORE and Continuous Improvement initiatives

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role

• Willingness to work rotating shifts (weekly basis)

• Ability to read and interpret basic GD&T drawings

• Skilled in using hand gages and basic CMM operations (Carl Zeiss / Wenzel)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word (SAP knowledge is a plus)

• MPI Level 2 certification in Non-Destructive Testing is an advantage

• Understanding of CORE Tools and quality methodologies

• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
