Job summary

A Japanese multinational company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee quality control activities and ensure compliance with ISO standards. The candidate should possess at least 4 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, with proficiency in measurement instruments and Quality Certification. Fluency in Mandarin and English is necessary for communication with the China office. A competitive salary from $4,000 to $5,000, plus a variable bonus, is offered for this full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Quality Control activities, including inspection plans, schedules, and updating Quality Records.
• Oversee inspections, reports, and documentation completed by inspectors, ensuring proper collection and filing of required Quality Records.
• Prepare and review Quality Records for customers as needed while managing and updating customer drawings, including revision control.
• Develop and implement Quality checklists, inspection criteria, and in-house and supplier quality management.
• Evaluate the qualifications of inspection personnel and plan/manage internal and external audits.
• Administer and enhance the company's ISO Quality System while maintaining documentation compliance.
• Supervise equipment calibration management activities, including Equipment Calibration Control and Drawing Control.
• Conduct and review safety risk assessments.

Requirements

• Min. GCE “O” Level or equivalent with min. 4 years of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or relevant experience, including proficiency in measurement instruments and Quality Certification.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat, and Windows.
• Experience with the First Article Process is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English to communicate with the China office.
