A leading Singaporean food company is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer (Executive) to ensure compliance with quality standards and conduct audits in their operations. This full-time role requires at least one year of relevant experience in quality assurance, particularly in the food industry. Successful candidates will possess strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems. The position offers an attractive salary range of $2,500 to $3,000 monthly.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food products are produced in compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Oversee the entire quality assurance processes
• Conduct regular internal audits for the organization, manage external inspections and liaise with regulatory agencies for annual audits
• Ad‑hoc duties with production and operations on a daily basis, e.g. maintenance and pest control
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and assist with new R&D product projects

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
• At least 1 Year of working experience in the Food Manufacturing/Baking is required for this position
• Experience in Bakery, Food R&D, Frozen Dough and Pastries will be preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to communicate in English. Mandarin is also preferred in order to liaise with & Mandarin speaking associates from Export Markets
• Prior experience with FSSC Certification process will be preferred
