About the role

Join Benco Maritime Pte Ltd as a QS/Project Engineer in our busy and dynamic Jurong East West Region office. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our diverse range of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects


• Conduct regular cost control and monitoring, tracking project expenditure against budgets


• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget


• Prepare progress and variance reports for management


• Assist in the procurement of materials and services


• Identify and resolve cost-related issues that arise during projects


• Provide input into project planning and scheduling

What we're looking for

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field


• 2+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Engineer in the construction industry


• Strong understanding of construction processes, planning and cost control methods


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Proficient in using construction cost estimating and project management software


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders
