Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for a 1-year contract. The role involves managing laboratory resources, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, and participating in method technology transfers. Candidates should have a degree in Life Sciences or a related field, strong attention to detail, and prior experience in a QC lab. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support team tasks to ensure adequate laboratory resources.
• Manage laboratory equipment and IT systems for compliance.
• Participate in method technology transfer and equipment introduction.
• Contribute to long-range QC laboratory planning.
• Author or review method and equipment qualification documents.
• Ensure cGMP compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Support timely escalation of lab events and quality actions.
• Act as QC Subject Matter Expert for audits.
• Participate in EHS and continuous improvement efforts.

Job description

Location: Tuas (Pharma MNC)
Duration: 1-year contract
Working Hours: 5 days, office hours (8am to 5pm)

Job Scope

• Support team tasks to ensure adequate laboratory resources (equipment, methods, systems)
• Manage laboratory equipment and IT systems to ensure business continuity, data integrity, and compliance
• Participate in method technology transfer and equipment introduction/refresh projects within timelines
• Contribute to long-range QC laboratory planning to secure infrastructure and compliance
• Author or review method transfer/qualification and equipment qualification documents (e.g. reports, protocols, change controls)
• Ensure cGMP compliance with corporate, site, and regulatory requirements
• Support timely escalation and handling of lab events and quality actions (e.g. NCR, Lab Investigation, CAPA)
• Act as QC Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support audit preparations and participation for successful outcomes
• Participate in EHS, business compliance, and cGMP-related initiatives; support continuous improvement efforts
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements
