Job summary

A technology firm in Singapore is seeking a testing specialist to implement medium to large scale Biometric projects in Public Security. Responsibilities include conducting tests, preparing plans, and ensuring software quality through automation. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Computer Engineering/Science and experience with functional and performance testing. Knowledge in Oracle, SQL Server, and Katalon is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years functional, scenario and performance testing experience.
• Experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases.
• Experience in automated testing tools like Katalon is a plus.

Overview

− Implementation of medium to large scale Biometric (.NET Framework) projects in the business domain of Public Security with emphasis on IT Security & Biometric Control;

− Conduct formal release tests and/or regression tests;

− Prepare test plans/cases, scripts and project related test deliverables;

− Generate test data to test each software or hardware component according to the quality criteria and business requirement;

− Design and develop automated testing procedures or scripts and keep them up-to-date;

− Ensure quality and accuracy is maintained throughout the software test life cycle;

− Enable timely delivery of the software or hardware release according to project schedule;

− Provide timely progress status update for Internal SIT and UAT, and onsite UAT;

− Ability to understand and adapt to relevant technologies and products; and

− Ability to work with team members to troubleshoot any problems with systems in production.
