Job summary

A leading aerospace laboratory company in Singapore is seeking a laboratory technician to perform metallurgical sample preparation and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the aerospace industry, hold a Nitec in Precision Engineering or equivalent, and be proficient in using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. Responsibilities include incoming material inspection, assisting calibration, and maintaining inventory. This position values detail and quality work within a laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in laboratory in Aerospace Industry.
• Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as Caliper and Micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallurgical laboratory sample preparation and evaluation.
• Conduct incoming inspection of direct/indirect material.
• Assist in calibration and archiving of records.
• Maintain lab consumables/spare parts inventory.
• Perform 6S housekeeping.
