We are looking for a detail-oriented and security-conscious QA Technician to support our device quality and security processes. You will perform secure key injection our products, strictly following dual-control and security protocols, while maintaining accurate device records and logs. Additionally, you will handle RMA verification, inspecting returned units, running diagnostics, and coordinating with technical teams for further analysis. The role also involves supporting general QA and operational tasks to ensure devices meet our high standards of quality, security, and traceability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure Key Injection (Primary Responsibility)
  • Perform secure key injection using Key Loading Devices (KLD), Hardware Security Modules (HSM), or Remote Key Injection (RKI).
  • Load required encryption keys.
  • Maintain a secure working environment with proper access control and device storage.
  • Follow strict dual-control and split-knowledge processes, ensuring two authorized personnel participate where required.
  • Follow all Key Injection Facility (KIF) procedures
  • Check device condition before and after key injection (serial number, tamper status, logs).
  • Report immediately if there are tamper alerts, key load failures, or unusual device behaviour.
  • Manage serial numbers, key injection logs, and device traceability documents.
  • Apply secure labels and seals to completed devices.
  • Coordinate lot release with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support internal and external audits and report any security issues without delay
  • Participate in internal training for new test processes or security procedures.
RMA verification
  • Receive returned units and perform initial checks on device condition.
  • Inspect appearance, serial number (SN), software/firmware version, logs, and power‑on functionality.
  • Run standard diagnostic tools to verify and identify the reported issue.
  • Prepare units and hand them over to the next level for deeper technical analysis when required.
  • Record all inspection details and update the RMA database.
  • Maintain proper RMA verification reports and follow up until final findings are completed.
General Support Tasks
  • Support QA in simple functional testing or incoming/outgoing checks when required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Min. NiTEC in Electronics, Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields.
  • Min. 1 year working in a secure environment (KIF or similar) handling cryptographic keys and secure devices is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of hardware, encryption concepts, or payment terminals
  • Ability to follow strict procedures, especially security‑related.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow repetitive, procedure‑driven tasks without deviation.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods during device handling and injection activities.
  • Comfortable doing hands‑on device testing and documentation.
