Job summary

The role involves reviewing coating specifications, conducting evaluations of corrosion control systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Materials/Corrosion Engineering and possess 7 to 15 years of QA/QC experience in corrosion. Qualifications

Job description

Role Purpose
Office based role, ensures corrosion-related materials, coatings, and corrosion control systems supplied by vendors meet all technical and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review coating specifications, CP system requirements, and corrosion design documents.

  • Conduct TBE evaluations for coating, cathodic protection, and corrosion-resistant alloy materials.

  • Witness coating application, curing, DFT checks, holiday testing, and QA records.

  • Review CRA welding, material certificates, PMI, and corrosion testing reports.

  • Support analysis of corrosion failures or NCR investigation.

  • Ensure compliance with NACE, ISO 12944, and project corrosion standards.

Qualifications
  • Materials/Corrosion Engineering degree.

  • 7–15 years corrosion QA/QC experience.
