Job summary

An international oil & gas company in Singapore seeks a Quality Engineer to establish inspection plans and manage audits. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the industry. Additional knowledge in ISO standards and precision machining is advantageous. This role involves on-site technical support and a willingness to work in the western part of Singapore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as quality engineer in oil & gas or metal machining industry.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, API Spec Q1, API Spec 5CT, ISO45001.
• Certified Internal Auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality inspection plans and procedures.
• Handle customer, supplier, and internal CARs.
• Plan and perform internal audits.

Connect Energy is partnering with an international oil & gas manufacturing company to look for the following position to join their esteem organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality inspection plans, COC, procedures / work instructions
• Handle customer / supplier / internal CARs
• Participate in contract review meetings, continual improvement project, safety meeting etc
• Plan, coordinate & perform internal audits
• Perform gap analysis on standards revision and revise procedure / work instructions
• Attend to customer / supplier / internal / certificate audits & technical queries
• Review material test reports, plan and inspection reports
• Analyze root cause and corrective action in non-conformance part investigation
• Provide training / briefing when required
• Conduct off site technical support and field running

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Min. 3 years experience in quality engineer for oil & gas / metal machining industry
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings and establish quality inspection plan
• Knowledge in using measuring instruments such a caliper, bore gage, micrometer
• Knowledge in CMM/faro arm, gage setting, connection make up will be an advantage
• Knowledge in ISO9001 / API Spec Q1 / API Spec 5CT / ISO45001
• Experience in handling customer technical issues
• Experience in precision machining
• Certified Internal Auditor (preferred)
• Willing to work on western part of Singapore
