Job Description - Pursuit Marketing Specialist (1800025J)

CWT is looking for a pursuit marketing specialist who has a creative spark and enjoys bringing CWT’s story to life with prospects.

Pursuit marketing is a critical part of the sales process that helps CWT increase bid win rates across key deals.

Reporting to the pursuit marketing manager, the pursuit marketing specialist will be responsible to support the pursuit marketing cycles for each identified account pursuits in Asia Pacific through research and tailored marketing engagement activities. He/she will need to work closely with the program management, business development, bid management and all other relevant teams.

Main Responsibilities
Research
  • Develop, coordinate and apply greater market, industry, prospect and competitor insight to each specific pursuit
  • Support the team in uncovering and developing a deeper understanding of the prospects’ organisations through conducting in-depth research
  • Ensure that a bespoke marketing engagement plan (demonstrating CWT differentiation, key credentials and capabilities on a specific sales activity) is brought to life during the sales cycle of each pursuit
  • Develop and deliver tailored marketing engagement plans and activities for each identified pursuits at various engagement touchpoints to communicate CWT’s value proposition. He/she will be required to:
  • Identify suitable engagement touchpoints for the sales teams to engage with the prospect
  • Work with the relevant teams to develop key messages and objectives to carry through in the various touchpoints
  • Create memorable client interactions and presentations
  • Conceptualise creative design concepts for each identified pursuit and ensure that these concepts are brought to life throughout the pursuit cycle
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of each engagement activity
  • Support the pursuit marketing manager and the wider CWT team with strategy to win sessions, such as prospect clinics, war room activities and win theme creation when the prospect is closer to bid.
Establish strong relationships with stakeholders within the business
  • Ensure that strong relationships are built with all relevant stakeholders during the pursuit campaigns
  • Work closely with sales, programme management, bid management and all other relevant teams to ensure each individual campaign is well‑executed and prospects’ insights are clearly communicated across the teams
Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in a B2B marketing and/or communications role
  • Previous experience with a sales‑driven organisation is preferred
  • Travel industry background is not necessarily essential
Education
  • Degree or comparable experience viewed favourable
  • Professional marketing and communications qualifications preferable
Languages
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese, written and spoken
Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong influencing and persuasive skills
  • Design skills (Adobe InDesign etc) highly desirable
