Job summary

A leading aviation services company based in Singapore seeks a Purchasing and Customer Support Executive to handle purchases and coordinate with various operational teams. The ideal candidate should have over 2 years of relevant experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be proficient in MS Office and ERP tools. This is a permanent full-time position offering the opportunity to support customer queries and facilitate purchasing activities in a dynamic environment.

  • Handle direct or indirect purchases for the company.

We are looking for highly independent and hands‑on individuals to join our operations team as Purchasing and Customer SupportExecutive. You will be responsible for following:

Job Description
  • Permanent fulltime position, 5 days week.
  • Reporting to immediate supervisor in Operations.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
  • Handling of direct or indirect purchases for the company.
  • Coordinate and provide operational support to various teams.
  • Assisting in tendering requirements, quotation requests and issuance of Purchase orders.
  • Sourcing of products and services from suppliers.
  • Monitoring deliveries and warranty coverage with thecustomers and suppliers.
  • Maintain an accurate warranty record of purchases.
  • Handling of material RMA to vendors and their subsequentreturn.
  • Coordinate with the shipping, finance, and project teams tofacilitate project and purchasing activities.
  • Adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP), processesand guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Secondary duties
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact with the customer onall issues relating to the account being assigned.
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way viaemail, phone etc.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved.
  • Support the customer in escalating issues and discrepanciesresolutions.
  • Extending opportunities to principles on a routine basis.
Job skills and requirements
  • Qualification: Min. ITE and above preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken) will be preferred.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and coordination skills.
  • Resourceful, meticulous and organized.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Able to work independently, multi-task and work cohesively as a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Familiar with the usage of ERP tools.
