What you will be working on

You will be involved in administering retirement-related withdrawal schemes. This includes overseeing Ordinary and Special Account (OSA) withdrawals for members reaching age 55, facilitating Retirement Account (RA) withdrawals through pledging, managing lump-sum withdrawals once members reach the PEA threshold, and handling exemptions for various conditions.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the Section Head in supervising a team of Managers and Executives responsible for the daily operations of retirement withdrawal schemes.
  • Lead the team in navigating complex operations, managing incidents, and addressing appeals from CPF members, while seeking solutions beyond the CPF system and adjusting resource plans as needed.
  • Identify and facilitate reviews of policies, legislation, processes, systems, and communications with stakeholders.
  • Ensure that practices, legislation, systems, and communications align with business rules and objectives.
  • Oversee project initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Represent the group or department in Board-wide committees.

  • Relevant experience in operational and project management, with a strong track record with a strong track record in public sector administration preferred.
  • Experience overseeing teams and managing complex projects.
  • Ability to oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with Board’s goals.
  • Familiarity with incident management processes and appeals handling will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including data analysis tools.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and resource needs while maintaining high service standards
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Self-motivated and ready to innovate in a dynamic environment.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
