Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Represent the company on all quality-related matters and liaise closely with BCA on quality initiatives and assessments.
  • Guide project teams in establishing and achieving project-specific quality objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff and subcontractors to reinforce quality standards and objectives.
  • Lead the preparation of CONQUAS/QM documentation and coordinate with BCA on pre-assessment quality meetings.
  • Establish and manage CONQUAS incentive schemes for management approval.
  • Organize and deploy in-house inspectors to carry out progressive inspections and establish quality benchmarks.
  • Guide site teams in conducting internal quality checks and rectification works prior to formal assessments by consultants, clients, and authorities.
  • Attend BCA quality assessments or delegate responsibilities to designated team members as required.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance and subcontractor duties in addressing client and purchaser complaints.
  • Identify quality-related training needs and initiate training programs for staff and subcontractors.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry and 3 years in a managerial capacity is preferred.
