Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to manage all phases of the project lifecycle from planning to execution. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in international project management, preferably in oil & gas or telecom sectors. Strong communication skills and project management certification are advantageous. This role requires meticulous financial monitoring and effective customer relationship management.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth planning, execution, delivery, and close‑out.
• Take full accountability for project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and client handover.
• Monitor project financials to achieve profitability targets and maintain cost discipline.
• Ensure quality standards are met across engineering, procurement, and implementation activities.
• Serve as the primary communication point for clients on schedule, progress, and commercial matters.
• Oversee procurement tasks to secure materials and subcontractors that align with technical and commercial requirements.
• Enforce Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) compliance throughout project execution.
• Provide regular financial updates, including billing status, projections, and progress reporting.
• Delegate tasks to project engineers and ensure effective prioritization of work.
• Track overall project status and work‑in‑progress (WIP), identifying risks and implementing corrective measures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of international project management experience.
• Background in industrial project environments, preferably within oil & gas or telecom‑related projects.
