Job summary

A leading project management firm is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager located in Singapore. Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Prepare project budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in equipment/manpower/systems or other assets/resources.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Develop, compile and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Identify training needs/requirements.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with customers vital to the success of the project.
  • Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied with. Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • To ensure projects meet customer's quality standards.
  • Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board or BOA.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in constructions or civil engineering. Those with experience in underground utilities especially water pipes will be advantageous.
  • Team management experience.
  • Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Candidates must have Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
