Job description

This national healthcare programme consolidates and provides patient health data to serve national health needs and supports healthcare professionals to serve their patients better. The programme is part of a national healthcare ecosystem and supports the digitization and connection with other national healthcare programmes.

The Infrastructure Transition Manager supports the delivery and readiness of infrastructure components required for a large-scale healthcare programme. The role focuses on coordinating cloud and on-premise infrastructure activities, ensuring environment preparedness, managing network and connectivity requirements, and supporting the programme through implementation, cutover and stabilisation.

The position requires someone with a solid foundation in infrastructure and networking concepts, combined with strong coordination skills to work effectively with architecture, cloud engineering, network, security, application teams and vendors. This role requires sufficient technical understanding to drive the project management, alignment, resolve dependencies, and ensure smooth transition of infrastructure components.

Role & Responsibilities
Infrastructure Transition & Environment Readiness
  • Coordinate preparation and readiness of cloud environments across project phases (e.g., non-Prod, Pre-Prod and Prod).
  • Ensure infrastructure components such as network routing, connectivity, access, load balancers, and DNS entries are prepared according to implementation timelines.
  • Work closely with various technical teams to align configuration activities with approved technical designs.
Network & Connectivity Coordination
  • Support setup of required connectivity between cloud environments, data centres, external partners, and institutions.
  • Coordinate routing updates, access configurations, and DNS changes necessary for integration and deployment.
  • Facilitate end-to-end connectivity testing with internal and external stakeholders.
Certificate, Security & Compliance Support
  • Coordinate lifecycle activities for infrastructure-related certificates and security configurations.
  • Work with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with organisational governance, security policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support review and execution of remediation activities related to infrastructure controls.
Cutover & Go-Live Support
  • Lead the infrastructure portion of pre-cutover and go-live preparation, ensuring all dependencies and activities are tracked and completed.
  • Coordinate cross-team activities during cutover and post-go-live stabilisation.
  • Support infra-related issue resolution during deployment windows.
Issue, Risk & Dependency Management
  • Identify infra-related risks, dependencies, and gaps; elevate appropriately to technical and programme leads.
  • Track and follow up on issues across infrastructure, network, vendor and application teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide structured reporting on infra readiness, progress, and challenges.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain infrastructure readiness plans, connectivity requirements, transition checklists and relevant technical documentation.
  • Provide clear and concise updates to Transition Management Office (TMO), transition leads and relevant stakeholders.
Project Coordination & Infra Analysis
  • Coordinate infra-related milestones and dependencies with internal teams and vendors.
  • Support clarification of infra requirements related to connectivity, access, routing, and environment preparation.
  • Provide infra-related inputs to project plans and work with project teams to align timelines.
  • Ensure infra deliverables remain aligned to overall project schedules, escalating blockers early when they affect critical paths.
Requirements
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, networks, or IT delivery, with at least 4 years of relevant hands‑on experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems and or Data Centre migration projects.
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (preferably AWS), network fundamentals, routing, connectivity, and infrastructure security practices.
  • Experience working on infrastructure deliverables within large-scale or multi-agency environments.
  • Strong coordination and analytical skills to manage complex infra dependencies.
  • Ability to interpret infrastructure designs and technical documentation.
  • Comfortable working with multiple technical teams and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work across cross-functional teams (applications, infra, network, security, vendors).
  • Able to provide clear updates and manage expectations with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and work as a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, networking, ITIL and PMP) are an advantage.
  • Experience in healthcare industry and/or Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC) would be added advantage.
