Responsibilities

• The Project Manager (PM) is overall responsible to manage the project team to meet or exceed customer contractual requirements for the delivery of the project.
• The job scope will cover the complete application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, integration, UAT and rollout of the IT project. The IT projects may include site preparation and hardware installation and support.
• The PM will work together with the Sales Team to manage project procurement. The Project Manager will also support pre‑sales activities, focusing on the technical solution, effort and timeline estimation of the tender/proposal.
• Deployment and support of PC based hardware and custom‑developed software at multiple sites across Singapore.
• Experience in overseeing site preparation, hardware delivery and installation is advantageous.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience as a Project Manager with experience delivering Government‑related projects.
• Knowledge and experience in the following technology areas will be advantageous:
  • J2EE-based solution & development for WebSphere/WebLogic application servers and Oracle/MSSQL database servers.
  • .NET based application development, including thick client C# application development.
  • Domain knowledge in National ID Cards, E‑Passports, Biometrics, Smart Cards, Immigration.
  • Clearance Gates.
