Job Description Summary

We are looking for a driven and analytical Project Engineer to lead productivity and waste reduction initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to perform deep root cause analysis to drive sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support productivity improvement and waste reduction projects across production lines.
  • Analyze production and waste data to identify inefficiencies, loss areas, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues such as machine downtime, quality defects, and material waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Technical, Planning) to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, waste, and cost savings.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops focused on waste elimination and process optimization.
  • Document and standardize best practices for deployment across other lines or sites.
  • Support training and capability building for operators and shift leaders on improvement tools and waste awareness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
  • Proven problem-solving ability using structured methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.
