Job summary

A leading recruitment agency based in Singapore is looking for a project manager within the construction field to oversee and manage projects ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to. The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in project and contract management. Experience in Data Center projects will be an advantage. In this role, you will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure project success.

• Handle contracts, claims, and maintain stock control.
• Solve on-site technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handover of projects upon completion.

Job Scope

• Oversee assigned projects, ensuring progress aligns with schedules and taking corrective actions when needed.
• Requisition and plan for materials, labour, and equipment while minimizing wastage.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, assign tasks, and provide training to new project staff.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and purchasing teams regarding project matters.
• Conduct inspections, quality checks, and ensure adherence to safety and approved drawings.
• Handle contracts, claims, variations, material requisitions, and maintain stock control.
• Solve technical and coordination problems on‑site and recommend corrective actions for non‑conformance.
• Ensure proper project handover upon completion.
• Follow senior management’s assignments and arrange overtime work if required.

Requirement
