Job summary

A recruitment consultancy is seeking a candidate for an engineering role focusing on project supervision and execution in Singapore. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry, especially in Data Centers. Strong familiarity with various mechanical systems is required. The role involves liaising with clients and ensuring effective project delivery.

• Experience in working at Data Center or in DFMA preferred.
• Familiar with retrofit/renovation and lighting control.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Execution of Contracts & Installation progress
• Liaise with Client/Consultant/contractors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment.
• Report and monitor of progress of project to Project Manager.
• Supervise works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installations / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings.
• Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
• Assist negotiate on procure materials, equipment and labour in accordance to budget.
• Meeting with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
• Work with stakeholders on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction industry.
• Experience in working at Data Center or in DFMA.
• Familiar with VAV / VRV / cooling tower / Chillers / chilled water pipe / A&A works.
• Familiar with retrofit / renovation / lighting control / BMS.
