Role Overview:

As a Fire Protection Construction Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the installation and commissioning of fire protection systems across construction projects in Singapore. The role requires coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning:
    Assist the Project Manager/Director in schedule planning and site coordination.
  • Procurement:
    Manage procurement processes and monitor delivery schedules. Coordinate with suppliers and site personnel on delivery-related matters.
  • Construction Management:
    Supervise installation activities, ensuring progress is on schedule and quality standards are met. Coordinate closely with other MEP trades and the main contractor.
  • Testing & Commissioning:
    Oversee the testing and commissioning of fire protection systems. Identify and rectify deficiencies. Prepare and submit necessary testing and certification documents.
  • Handover:
    Coordinate final inspections, obtain client sign-off, and compile and submit handover documentation.
