A specialized engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a motivated Engineer to support project execution and delivery. The role involves preparing project documentation, conducting quality inspections, and providing technical assistance under senior engineers' guidance. Candidates must possess a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, CAD proficiency, and a positive attitude. Ideal applicants are self-motivated problem solvers with good teamwork skills and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
The Engineer is responsible for supporting role of execution of projects within our EPC company, specializing in controlled environment. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop technical skills in a dynamic and challenging environment. Additional duties may be assigned based on project requirements andcompanyneeds.
Key Responsibilities:
Project / Tender Support:
Prepare and assist senior engineers in developing project plans, schedules, and documentation during project or tender phase, demonstrating understanding of project management methodologies.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors as needed.
Support site inspections and quality control checks.
Technical Assistance:
Understand the client’s requirements and prepare engineering calculations and drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
Prepare and assist in the selection and specification of equipment and materials.
Research and analyse technical data.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure project compliance.
Prepare and implement the method of statement and processes for quality assurance.
Coordinate and carry out testing and commissioning activities to ensure systems are operational and meet performance requirements.
Prepare operational and maintenance manuals and as-built drawings for project handover.
Learning and Development:
Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop technical skills.
Participate in training programs and workshops.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical
Architectural discipline will be advantageous
Well verse in CAD drawing and MS Office
Organized, responsible, good team player and initiative with positive work attitude
Good project management skills and able to work independently
Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and do overtime if necessary
Preferably Engineer specialized in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent
At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Energetic, self motivated, good problem solving skills
Willing to learn, positive attitude
