Job Description
General Function

Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within budget, meeting dateline/schedule, safety, and quality standards in compliance with client’s contract. Providing service at the client’s site according to the Purchase Order

Tasks
  • Technical
    • Ensure projects are delivered within budget, meeting dateline/schedule, safety and quality standards in compliance with client’s contract
    • provide services including but not limited to technical advice, system monitoring, and maintenance, troubleshooting, piping & repairing job
    • Participate in the kick off meeting and work on the approved budget & proposal.
    • Monitor all project activities, understand technical specifications, and validate all technical decisions; ensure compliance with the safety guidelines, report non-compliance, coordinate works at site and meet delivery timelines.
    • Draw up a process-commissioning schedule in agreement with the project schedule
    • Prepare necessary documentation and perform the FAT, SAT, commissioning, performance trials and validations; review all the CAD drawings from the E&IC vendor to ensure E&IC systems and equipment used in design are safe, reliable, cost-effective and conform to clients' specifications, all applicable electrical codes and engineering standards
    • Maintain good rapport and close relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities etc to ensure smooth and efficient implementation to project, liaise with procurement and logistic on equipment, sub-contractor arrangement; participate in the selection of sub-contractors and suppliers
    • Being on-call 24/7 to respond to emergency cases
  • Management
    • Provide regular project progress reports/updates to customers, internal departments and commercial reports to management.
    • Prepare training manuals and train operators as and when required.
  • Safety
    • Raise safety awareness at the site and ensure a safe working environment
    • Apply the Safety procedures for operations bound to their activities
    • Risk Assessment for Jobs or projects assigned
  • Quality
    • Apply the Quality procedures for operations bound to their activities
Qualifications

University Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical)
