Job summary

A manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee project management from initiation to final customer approval. The ideal candidate should possess a degree or diploma in engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of injection molding and plastic tooling. This role involves liaising with customers and collaborating with various departments to ensure timely project launches and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Costing knowledge of tools and tooling processes will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liase with customers to meet all expectations during project launch until full approval by the customer.
• Responsible for planning, monitoring and control of projects from the receipt of orders through to final approval.
• Interact with various departments to ensure smooth project launch and timely completion.
• Conduct drawing analysis and dimensional interpretation.
• Manage customer visits, sample submissions, and mold testing arrangements.
