Job description
Project Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead and manage full-cycle construction projects from pre-construction to handover.
  • Develop and execute project strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress, risk exposure, and performance metrics to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
  • Chair weekly project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internalteams.
Contract & Commercial Management
  • Oversee tendering, contract administration, VO/change control, procurement, and subcontract negotiations.
  • Monitor project cost plans, cash flow, and cost-to-complete forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, specifications, and statutory requirements.
Technical & Construction Management
  • Ensure construction methodologies, sequencing, and temporary works plans are technically sound and efficient.
  • Resolve technical and coordination issues in collaboration with consultants and construction teams.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, RA, FPP, QA/QC documents, and handover submissions.
Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations (e.g., BCA, SCDF,MOM, WSH Act).
  • Champion safety culture and ensure the implementation of WSH andQA/QC systems across all sites.
  • Oversee defect rectification and handover procedures.
People & Team Development
  • Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, QS, coordinators, andsite staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop training plans forproject teams.


Education & Certification

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
  • PMP, PE, or equivalent professional certifications are advantageous.
Experience
  • Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record in delivering commercial, residential, hospitality, or industrial projects.
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in cost control, contract administration, and procurement management.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore building codes, authorityrequirements, and WSH regulations.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
