Job Summary

a. The Programme Executive is responsible for providing overall programme and administrative support for the Centre.

b. Being respectful and show understanding of the behaviours of person with mental health issues.

c. Show care and concern when interacting with person with mental health issues and caregivers.

d. Able to interact comfortably and at ease with person with mental health issues.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Programme

a. Assist in the execution of daily activities planned for the day centre.

b. Accompany clients on outings and excursions.

c. Ensure that programmes are managed and continued.

d. Assist and contribute towards improvement of activities that clients prefer.

e. Conduct at least one of the following activities but not limited to:

  • Art & Craft per week
  • Cooking or domestic craft for female clients
  • Outdoor activity (badminton, walk in the park)
  • Indoor games
  • Computer session

f. Assist with organizing outings, festive celebrations and other events.

g. Assist with providing life skills/functional-skills training and vocational skills training to clients.

h. Provide other related duties/services as assigned by supervisor.

2. Administrative

a. Attend staff meetings, training, etc as required.

b. Answer general enquiries – calls/walk‑in.

c. Perform general office tasks including photocopying of documents, filing, contacting caregivers, mailings, invoicing, collection of fees, etc as needed.

d. Assist with providing support to volunteers.

3. Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
