Programme Executive
Responsibilities
Centre Engagement
  • Perform community screening, befriend the elderly, and support outreach activities or public education efforts
  • Conduct health assessments for seniors/clients
  • Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with clients, caregivers, volunteers, and the community
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, implement and monitor progress of clients' individual care plans
  • Build and foster supportive buddying relationships between clients, volunteers, and staff to promote socialization and reduce isolation
Volunteer Management
  • Assist in volunteer management and conduct orientation programs
  • Train volunteers in conducting active aging activities and buddying initiatives for seniors/clients
  • Encourage volunteers to engage in befriending relationships with seniors to enhance their emotional and social well-being
Programme Planning and Execution
  • Plan, organize, implement, monitor, and evaluate the Centre's programs, activities, and events, creating a regular activity calendar
  • Assist and facilitate activities for clients alongside the care team
  • Facilitate or conduct classes for senior lifelong learning
Programme Management & Reporting
  • Oversee the management of key programs, ensuring timely execution and achievement of objectives
  • Coordinate and manage events and partner relationships, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on the progress of programs, including key milestones, risks, and resolutions
Staff Relations
  • Work closely with the care team to foster team spirit and ensure cohesive work relationships in the best interest of our clients
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Community Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in community development, or a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with community engagement platforms

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday to Friday)
