A leading human capital consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) with a minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 10 years of experience in both construction management and design. The successful candidate will oversee mechanical works and ensure compliance with local codes. Responsibilities include managing projects, preparing tender documents, and liaising with various stakeholders. This position offers an opportunity to work on significant projects while engaging directly with authoritative bodies.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore or Specialized Professional Engineer.
• More than 10 years of experience in the industry.
• Conversant in engineering analysis design software.

Responsibilities

• Check and design mechanical works from concept to detailed design.
• Endorse authorities’ submissions and apply for completion certificates.
• Ensure project compliance with local codes and authority requirements.
• Perform analysis and provide technical advice and solutions.
• Manage projects including financial management and contract administration.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for various engineering works.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the checking and design of mechanical works from concept to detailed design and provision of QP supervisory works for projects
• Endorsement of the authorities’ submissions, supervision & apply for certificate of completion as Professional Engineer (Mechanical) for the projects undertaken by company.
• Conversant in local code and authority requirements, ensuring project compliance to the requirements.
• Able to perform analysis and guide engineers to analyse and provide technical advice and solutions when working with stakeholders
• Carry out project management, planning, financial management of project, contract administration, ensure key deadlines are met and team work together effectively
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for civil & structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works
• Preparation of tender documents and specifications
• Design management, coordination with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants

Requirements

• Minimum degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore / Specialized Professional Engineer or
• More than 10 years in the industry
• Experience in both construction management and design
• Conversant in Engineering analysis design software, BIM software, CFD simulations tools and other mechanical/fire engineering software.
