A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking a Production Shift Lead to oversee daily operations in battery and electronics manufacturing. The ideal candidate will lead a dedicated team, ensure safety protocols are enforced, and guard product quality. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, with supervisory experience preferred. Location: Tuas – Free daily shuttle bus provided from Choa Chu Kang & Joo Koon MRT stations.
Salary: $2,700 – $3,900 per month (depending on scheduled workdays)
Lead and motivate a dedicated production team to achieve daily goals with accuracy and teamwork.
Oversee all shift activities, manage task assignments, and ensure clear communication during shift handovers.
Be a safety champion by enforcing protocols, promoting proper PPE usage, and learning from any incidents.
Guard product quality by identifying and resolving production issues promptly.
Train and mentor team members, helping new operators build skills and confidence.
Continuously seek improvements by supporting initiatives like 5S, ISO, and Lean manufacturing.
At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in battery or electronics is a plus.
Prior experience in a team lead, supervisory, or hands‑on leadership role.
Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, with occasional overtime.
A solid understanding of safety rules and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
A proactive problem-solver who leads by example.
