A specialist in industrial coatings based in Singapore is looking for a skilled Coater to prepare and apply high-performance coatings. The role requires experience in industrial coating techniques and proficiency in using spray guns and DFT gauges. Responsibilities include preparation, coating application, quality control, assembly, and packaging of products. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to strict safety protocols while contributing to high-quality output in an innovative workplace.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2 years’ experience in industrial coating (Xylan, PTFE, fluoropolymers).
• Skilled in spray guns, coating equipment, and DFT gauges.
• Adept at reading specifications and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal fasteners for coating by cleaning and pre-treating.
• Measure, mix, and spray Xylan materials precisely.
• Ensure uniform dry film thickness using measurement tools.
• Operate ovens and monitor curing temperatures and times.
• Assemble finished coated parts into completed sets.
• Safely pack items to prevent transit damage.
• Follow safety and PPE guidelines diligently.
• Assist in testing, sample creation, and inventory tracking.

📍 Location: Joo Koon

🗓 Mon–Fri, 8:30AM–5:30PM | 2 Saturdays per month (8:30AM–1:00PM)

💰 Salary: $2,000 – $2,800 (Based on Experienced)

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Preparation: Clean, degrease, and pre-treat metal fasteners to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Coating: Measure, mix, and spray Xylan fluoropolymer materials with precision.
• Quality Control: Ensure uniform dry film thickness (DFT) using measurement tools.
• Curing: Operate industrial ovens and monitor temperature/time accurately.
• Assembly: Assemble finished coated parts into sets.
• Packaging: Pack completed items safely to prevent transit damage.
• Safety Compliance: Follow PPE guidelines, chemical handling rules, and respirator use.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: Assist in batch testing, sample creation, and material inventory tracking.
